Vielfalt in Studium und Lehre
Since 2012 the “Didaktik-Forum” has been our annual forum for didactical exchange of experience amongst lecturers at Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences. In 2016 we invited for the first time also international teachers to share their know-how. The results were promising – a variety of good practices, fruitful discussions and ideas shared. Therefore we would like to continue to exchange teaching experiences. We will discuss how to engage students in the learning process, to learn better and enjoy learning and therefore to support their study achievements. Especially at the beginning of their studies, students´ expectations concerning goals, methods and the appropriate way to achieve academic success often seem to differ from those of the lecturers. In addition, students do not usually start on the same educational level – which challenges both students and lecturers.
